What’s a foodservice and hospitality event without competitions? 

• The Most Gracious Host Challenge
Home chefs are tasked to tantalise the tastebuds of a panel of judges with a themed 4-course menu for 12 guests. The heat is on as teams are put under scrutiny, not only on taste, but also on presentation, service and hospitality.

Jointly organised by Food and Beverage Management Association (FBMA) Singapore and Dine Inn, this first-in-Singapore competition is set to thrill not only the judges but visitors as well! 

• Table Dressing Challenge
Banquet and catering operations professionals have to race against time to deck out their display tables in the most elaborate and visually appetising manner possible. It takes more than just creativity to dress up a table. Contestants will need originality and a keen eye for details to deliver an impeccably set table.

Here’s something for coffee, tea and gelato enthusiasts too! 

Serving to you in 2019 is the inaugural SEAsia Café Expo, set to be the region’s authoritative show on the latest trends in the café industry.

While the latest tools and techniques will still be on display, the icing on the cake however is the carefully curated thematic layout, that will bring to the show floor realistic café settings customised for tomorrow’s generation! Visitors will be treated to an experience synonymous with the café culture, making SEAsia Café Expo a one-of-a-kind event.

The creative side of the coffee industry will be celebrated at the Barista Redefined Challenge as the baristas are put under the scrutiny, not only on taste and technique, but also on presentation, and service. The battle is on!

Organised by Dessert Association of Singapore, the Singapore Gelato Championship aims to create new culinary trends and raise the level of creativity and professionalism by showcasing Singapore’s finest gelato artisans. Get ready to cheer for the exceptional talent showcased at this competition!
