The Best of Japanese Cuisine: Food Japan is Back!

Back for its seventh edition, Food Japan 2018 is back to bring together food and beverage businesses from across Japan and Southeast Asia. Held at Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre Hall, Food Japan 2018 will be held from 25th to 27th October. This year, the three-day exhibition will focus on authentic Japanese food and beverage products, culinary techniques and novel technologies, to bring visitors the best of Japanese cuisine. Over 200 exhibitors, will be showcasing fresh seasonal produce, delectable ingredients and sake.
To reflect the country’s willingness to embrace diversity and global trends, there will be an improved selection of Halal products from Daiei Foods, as well as healthier alternatives such as dairy products free of vegetable oil from Morinaga Nutritional Foods. Food Japan will also be launching a new consolidated delivery system for buyers, streamlining the process for interested parties.

There will also be over 200 labels of Japanese beverages for your to acquaint your palette with. The Junmai Daiginjo sake for instance, comes with an intense flavour that is perfect for sake lovers.
For tea aficionados, Food Japan 2018 is the place to be. From Shizuoka green tea to authentic Hojicha, this event will showcase a series of quality teas.
Or if you’re a secret carb-addict, be sure to take a look at their selection of udon, the chewy noodles found in many Japanese dishes. Be bowled over by just how nutritious and flavourful these noodles can be!
