首届"香港一带一路国际食品展"于6月29日圆满闭幕

The First Belt & Road International Food Expo (Hong Kong) (BRIFE 2018) in AsiaWorld-Expo, Hong Kong during 27 to 29 June has successfully gathered over 287 exhibitors from 38 countries and districts in the globe to organized more than 300 booths which has showcased over 1,000 new products and services, the majority of 26 countries and districts are along the Belt and Road area. The 3-day Expo has attracted more than 6,000 buyers from 27 countries and districts to purchasing and had business discussions, for jointly expand the tremendous business market and seize the prosperous opportunities brought by Belt and Road Initiative.
首届“香港一带一路国际食品展”（BRIFE 2018）于2018年6月27日至29日在香港亚洲国际博览馆隆重举办。本次盛会成功汇聚全球38个国家及地区的政府和企业代表，其中有26个国家及地区来自“一带一路”沿线。合共有287个参展商组成超过300个展位，展出超过1000种新产品及服务，并吸引了逾6000名来自27个国家及地区的专业买家到场采购洽商，共同拓展“一带一路”倡议带来的庞大商机。

BRIFE 2018 has been accredited by the Ministers of Agriculture and Trade from 5 countries, as well as Prince of Georgia and former Policy officer of British Columbia, Canada as honorable guest speakers of The First Belt & Road Agrifood & Trade Summit (ATS), which is concurrent with the Expo. National representatives including Ambassadors, Consul-Generals, Trade Commissioners and principals of Trade Promotion Agencies etc. from over 40 countries have been in attendance. BRIFE 2018 aims to create a new and high-end international cooperation platform with combining government and business for the agri-food industries and trade, also giving full play to Hong Kong's superiority that acting as a "Super Connector" to promote the unimpeded trade of B2B & G2B and industry development.

There are more than 50 business matchings, promotion conferences and seminarswere successfully held during BRIFE 2018. Delegations from Heilongjiang Province, Jiangsu Province, Guangdong Province and Chongqing Municipality of P.R.C. have signedmemorandums of business investment and procurement cooperation with a total of RMB30 billion, with their counterparts from Canada, South Korea and Hong Kong S.A.R. To made an important stride to promote the development of agriculture and food industry, and to facilitate the international trade cooperation in related fields under the Belt and Road Initiative.
